Pharmacy Technician Supervisor oversees the work of a team of Pharmacy Technicians that assist Pharmacists with the dispensing of medical prescriptions. Monitors daily activities and manages work schedules to ensure that quality, production and customer service standards are maintained. Being a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor may hire, train, and evaluate new employees. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivery of Prescription.
- Process OTC Order
- Help with Pick up prescription
- Process prescription and scan prescriptions
- Change NDC
- Hipaa
- Get Prescriptions Delivery Ready and delivery to patient house
- Closing register
- Type and process prescription
- Accurately fill prescriptions
- Deliver medications
- Provide excellent customer service
- Receive and stock merchandise within the Pharmacy
- Maintain Pharmacy presentation by ensuring shelves are full, clean, and signed appropriately
- Clean Desk, Bathrooms and mop Whole Pharmacy
- Call Patient promptly when prescription is ready.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Active/valid national certification certificate issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
