Photocopy Operator jobs in Columbus, MS
Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Operator for a company based in Columbus, MS. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for handling operator functions in a melt room and operate in the melt process of precious metals.
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Shifts Vary with extreme flexibility
Operator Duties and Responsibilities- Lifting between 50-70lbs regularly
- Set-up, monitor and operate (including make adjustments) the continuous casting machines to very small tolerances, melt, and charge the furnaces etc.
- Physically inspect product before and after melting
- Work in a hot environment. (Though area is climate controlled)
- Communicate respectfully with co-workers and Supervisors
- Understand and follow written and oral instruction exactly and stay focused at all times
- Must be on time to work and focused and with an attention to detail while at work
- Able and committed to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
