Staffmark has joined forces with a logistics company in Telford, TN, to seek out a skilled Operator to join their team.

Pay rate : to per hour

Shifts available :

• 1st shift : 6 : 55 am to 3 : 25 pm
• 3rd shift : 10 : 30 pm to 7 : 00 am

As an Operator, you'll play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your duties will include :

• Developing and demonstrating proficiency in operating the Single Spindle Automatic Lathe, optimizing its performance.
• Interpreting process drawings and utilizing various measuring methods to ensure accurate dimensions, using devices like calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges.
• Collecting data for quality tracking, analyzing it, and making necessary adjustments to machinery.
• Changing tool holders and inserts, and adjusting peripheral tooling as required.
• Completing daily manufacturing reports, including scrap, quality, and production records, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Participating in company activities to enhance processes and gain knowledge of different bearing types, applications, materials, and manufacturing methods.
• Obtaining and safely operating a forklift license, packaging finished products according to instructions, and fulfilling other assigned duties.
