Photocopy Operator operates high-volume copying, printing, and finishing equipment. Fulfills jobs for document duplication, printing, finishing, binding, lamination, and other processes. Being a Photocopy Operator sets up and maintains machines and inventory of supplies. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems. Additionally, Photocopy Operator performs quality checks on work in process and finished jobs to avoid errors or waste. Prepares finished documents for pick up or shipping. Records activities in applicable work order tracking systems and follows standard procedures. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Photocopy Operator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, and lift trucks to move materials and products pick parts
- Safely pick product while using reach truck
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience operating reach, forklifts, or lift trucks
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory and reading
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
