We support our customers with laboratory facilities in the US, Europe, Singapore and China and a back office in India.Job DescriptionThe Scientific Affairs Liaison interacts with Business Development, Proposal Development and Laboratory Operations with the aim to win proposals. S/he exchanges information with relevant stakeholders (internal/external), documents existing and needed capabilities and proposes qualified solutions to Laboratory Management to profitably grow the laboratory business. Key Accountabilities Monitor the Central Laboratory test menu, ensuring all data is available accurate and traceable.Provide and update analysis information to include cost, feasibility, TAT and methodology to meet tight turnaround times during bidding process. Maintain database information for bid vs. awarded studies when validation by lab is required. Communicate effectively with Laboratory Management to ensure client testing needs are met from bid to awarded study.Provide recommendations for in-house vs. outsourced testing capabilities and relevant process changes to Laboratory Management in order to enhance operating and financial performance.Identify appropriate referral labs as needed and obtaining relevant information needed to support clinical trials.Support Proposal Development department with suggestions on optimizing shipping globally.Communicate the use of a referral lab to QA allowing adequate time for QA qualification.Attend client meetings as needed to support sales. Dialogue with client as requested determining whether additional support is required.Provide input to satisfaction surveys (sponsors, investigators) and translates findings into actionable recommendations to Management for specific improvements.Reviews client protocols and provides synopses to ensure the proposals meet the testing needs of the client.
