Administers local, intravenous, or spinal anesthetic, records type and amount of anesthesia, and determines condition of patient before, during, and after sedation. Being a Physician - Anesthesiology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Anesthesiology may report to a medical director. Physician - Anesthesiology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
