BluePearl Specialty Emergency Hospital in Grand Rapids is the premier specialty and emergency pet hospital serving West Michigan. Our surgical team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of surgical diseases in dogs and cats.

BluePearl is looking for a remarkable full-time Ophthalmology Veterinary Assistant/ LVT with preferably 1-year prior veterinary experience. Experience working in a specialty hospital is not required as we provide comprehensive training for assistants and technicians transitioning from general practice. Duties and skills include but are not limited to:

• Catheter placement and blood draws

• Assist with ophthalmic procedures and testing

• Intubation and Recovery

• Surgical Prep

• Anesthetic Monitoring

• Provide excellent nursing care to patients

• Client communication

• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

• Organized and dependable

• Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Status: Full-Time

Hours: Daytime
