Physician - CCU treats patients in critical/coronary care unit to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary. Being a Physician - CCU requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - CCU may report to a medical director. Physician - CCU's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Position Details:
- Full-time hospital employed position
- Team: 1 Physician, 3 APPs, support staff, (1 MA per provider to help support),
1 phlebotomist, 2 RNs, 3 LPNs
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 5, 8s or opened to 4, 10s
- Average patients per day: 6-7 patients
- At one location
- Working with all surgical service lines: general surgery, trauma, orthopedics,
orthopedic spine, OB/Gyn, urology, GI, ENT, vascular surgery, cath lab and plastics
- Highly collaborative; multi-disciplinary teams to optimize surgical patient
- Opportunity to work with Family Medicine residents and 3rd and 4th year medical students
Compensation Details:
- Excellent base salary, $60K sign-on bonus, and qualifying for the PSLF
