Physician - CCU jobs in San Francisco, CA

San Francisco Animal Medical Center is looking for a veterinary assistant or RVT for our ICU/CCU. Strong applicants will be proficient in animal restraint and handling (especially as pertains to critical patients), venipuncture, IVC placement, providing oxygen support, patient monitoring, assessment of critical patients, and maintaining a line of communication with doctors to ensure proper patient care. Applicants need to be comfortable with and able to demonstrate abilities with medical calculations including but not limited to injectable drug calculations, calculating fluid rates, calculating and preparing constant rate infusions and fluid additives, and more. Candidate must also be able to stand for long periods, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 10 or 12 hour shifts, offering Day and Swing schedules.

Salary: $27 - $40 per hour
