Physician - Family Practice examines and treats members of family, regardless of age or sex. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Physician - Family Practice prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Family Practice requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Family Practice's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Job Summary
We're looking for a physician to partner with to provide high-quality care specific to immigration physicals. This would include directing staff in the support of this function.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care.
- Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion
- Process biological specimens when needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine
- Civil Surgeon or ability to obtain
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
