Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Family Practice requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Join a team of providers advancing health and social justice for ALL patients in our community! In this role you will provide direct medical care for a panel of patients of all ages within the scope of privileges granted and within a PCPCH care model. This includes performing patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, treatment of diagnosed conditions, prescribing medications, performing specialized tests and treatments within the scope of privileges, and patient education. In addition to direct care and documentation duties, will participate in clinical quality improvement, peer review, PCPCH, Meaningful Use and other programs as required of a Federal Qualified Health Center operating in the State of Oregon and Washington. OCH Family Practice Physicians may provide supervisory and administrative oversight of the education of physicians and other allied professional learners.
