As the HR (Human Resources) Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful onboarding of new employees, fostering a positive work environment, supporting employee growth and development, and driving organizational success through effective HR practices.
This position will support two warehousing operations in close proximity to each other.

What You'll Do
- Onboarding and Orientation: Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company culture and processes. Provide support and guidance to new hires throughout the onboarding process.
- Attendance and Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor attendance records, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly. Work closely with leadership to assess and improve employee performance through regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Leadership Meetings and Support: Conduct onsite meetings with leadership to review workforce needs, discuss HR metrics and trends, and collaborate on strategic initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations to support organization goals and objectives. Provide coaching and support to leadership on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
- Communication of Company Initiatives: Serve as a liaison between leadership and employees, communicating pertinent information on company initiatives, policies, and updates. Ensure transparency and clarity in communication to foster employee engagement and alignment with organizational goals.
- Employee Surveys and Workforce Improvements: Coordinate and administer employee surveys to gather feedback on various aspects of the workplace environment, including satisfaction and engagement.
- HR Investigations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal requirements throughout the investigation process.
- Terminations: Support the termination process, relevant paperwork, and provide support to employees transition out of the organization. Ensure terminations comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive HR information, including employee records, investigations, and discussions. Always uphold ethical standards and safeguard employee privacy.
- Shift Support: Provide support to employees across multiple shifts, addressing their HR-related needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner. Adapt communication and support strategies to accommodate varying shift schedules.
- Occasional Travel: Travel occasionally as required for training, meetings, or other HR-related activities.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the HR Generalist must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.
Education/Experience:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relations with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience with a focus on employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Proficient computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.
