Job Description

Job Title: HR Generalist

Responsibilities:

• Approve hours prior to payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and approve employee expenses according to company policies and procedures.
• Manage 401K updates, changes, and enrollment processes, ensuring employee understanding and compliance.
• Handle and resolve queries related to payroll processing, collaborating with the payroll department as necessary.
• Manage time off requests and holiday schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels and compliance with company policies.
• Develop and maintain the Employee Handbook, ensuring it reflects current policies and regulations.
• Stay updated on HR rules, regulations, policies, labor laws, and industry best practices.
• Source resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews for potential candidates.
• Prepare offer letters, contracts, and guide employees through the hiring process.
• Manage group insurance programs and assist with reimbursement matters for employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HR rules, regulations, policies, and labor laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in payroll processing and familiarity with 401K administration is a plus.
