About the Role
The HR Generalist will play a key strategic role in administering human resources policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will collect and maintain HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, and maintain our records management program. The HR Generalist must be ready to work closely with executive leadership in Boulder, CO and the Midland, TX to make recommendations for improvement. Must be capable of knowing what avenues are available to do research i.e. (SHRM, Mineral) to ensure our processes and procedures meet state and federal legislation and guidelines. The right person for this position seeks opportunities to improve relationships between field employees and leadership by encouraging a culture that promotes job satisfaction, respect, responsibility, integrity, and value for all our employees, clients, customers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate must thrive as a HR department of one and be comfortable in working closely with Operations and Administration.

• New hire orientation;
• Scheduling safety training through 3rd party companies;
• PPE and FR clothing purchases;
• I-9 and eVerify; and,
• All internal forms and databases.

• Oversee separation and termination requests including all documentation, exit interviews, final payroll requests, company property collection, etc.

• Drug test scheduling and administration.
• Background check and MVRs administration including but not limited to

• Submitting requests for information
• Final review
• Submission to insurance

• Maintain the employee directory:

• Create GMail accounts for new hires; and,

• Update directory, accounts and groups as needed.

• Help to manage the employee benefits and the benefits portal (Paycor) including:

• New enrollments;
• Follow-ups;
• Explanation of benefits and options to new hires; and,
• Uploading documents into Paycor

• Enroll and audit benefits enrollment on carrier sites as needed:

• Work closely with Payroll Manager on monthly data entry accuracy checks; and,
• Perform manual insurance enrollments as needed.

• Help promote and maintain the company's culture and core values.
• Manage hiring initiatives for all open positions:

• Post, review, and pre-screen applicants for all listings;
• Coordinate with hiring manager to schedule interviews and hit hiring targets; and,
• Prepare and send offer letters to prospective new hires.

• Other administrative and office tasks as needed.
