Ensures proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Being a Physician - Geriatrics treats disorders that arise due to aging such as Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. Requests necessary tests, follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Additionally, Physician - Geriatrics requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Geriatrics's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. - Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to clinicians within facilities
- Schedule: Monday through Friday rounding on 3 different post-acute facilities (not all in same day) from West Palm Beach to Delray Beach; ideal candidate would live in between both locations
- Background in providing primary care in internal medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), emergency medicine (EM), urgent care, physiatry, PM&R, or geriatrics
- Ability to work flexible schedules
