Also requesting 1st quarter availability for 2024 (2 weeks
per month)
Schedule
· Monday – Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM 24-hour call
· The above applies to the first 1-2 assignments.
· It’s possible that if the locum will be
returning on a frequent/consistent basis, the following
· schedule will apply as the department will
utilize the locum for scheduled outpatient procedures
· on the weekdays:
· Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM regular onsite
hours, followed by 3:00 PM – 7:00
· AM night call.
· Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM 24-hour
call.
Expected amount of time spent on-site:
For 24-hour call: 2-4 hours per day of rounding, and
remaining hours on-call
with call-back.
For regular hours call: 8-10 hours in office/rounding per
day, and remaining hours
on-call with call-back.
Inpatient/Rounding
· Rounding to be done by locum provider on new
admissions and new surgical patients from
previous nights.
