Physician - Nuclear Medicine uses radioactive materials to diagnose and treat disease. Monitors quality control of radionuclide preparation, administration and disposition, and ensures that all activities comply with the standards of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Being a Physician - Nuclear Medicine instructs and directs nuclear medicine technologists regarding desired dosages, techniques, positions, and projections. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nuclear Medicine requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director.     St. Luke's Health System is seeking a BC/BE family medicine physician to join our collegial and busy family medicine team. Our family medicine physicians see people of all ages, through all phases of life, whether the need for preventive care or treatment for a specific condition or acute illness. We promote the concept of a medical home, emphasizing a continuous relationship with a provider coordinating care for both wellness and illness.

     

    At our clinic, we offer a wide scope of services, including primary care for newborns, children, and adults; minor procedures (colposcopy and IUD insertion); management of chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and skin problems); immunizations; joint injections; and preventive care and wellness counseling. If the condition requires a specialist, we’ll help refer our patients to the appropriate providers.
