Physician - Otolaryngology examines, diagnoses and treats disorders, diseases, and injuries of the ear, nose and throat. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Otolaryngology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of disease or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Otolaryngology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Otolaryngology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
