Being a Physician - Otolaryngology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of disease or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Otolaryngology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Otolaryngology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Otolaryngology (ENT) to continue practicing, but not having to commit to a full time practice schedule. Mammoth Hospital serves a population of nearly 25,000 people between Mono County and the surrounding area, and easily would support a physician seeing 18-20 patients a day for 4 days, Monday – Thursday, and a surgery day on Friday. As a Rural Health Clinic, we are able to pay our providers for every patient they see, regardless of the patient payor mix. All overhead costs are covered by the hospital, including clinic staffing and billing, which allows our physicians to focus on what they do best - caring for patients!
