Physician - Pediatric Neonatology examines newborn children to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Provides care for premature or sick babies and requests necessary tests. Being a Physician - Pediatric Neonatology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Physician - Pediatric Neonatology may report to a medical director. Physician - Pediatric Neonatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     Summary:Makes all professional medical judgments in care of patients seen

    Responsibilities:*Make all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen.*Manage the physician/patient relationship.*Participate in system wide health management initiatives.*Provide input into the practice site s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues.*Assist in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards.*Receive and resolve patient complaints.*Participate in the recruitment and replacement of other providers.*Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost-effective treatment of pediatric patients.*Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops.

    Credentials RequiredM.D. /D.O. Board-eligible or certified in Pediatrics with State of New Mexico Medical License.
