Physician - Podiatry examines, diagnoses and treats disorders, diseases, deformities or injuries of the foot. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Podiatry recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Podiatry requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Podiatry's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. BASIC FUNCTION:
The Podiatric Resident is an employee of Alliance Community Hospital who acts to meet the goals/objectives of this surgical residency.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an approved Podiatric Program.
CPR and ACLS, through the American Heart Association, completed within 3 months of hire.
Must be computer-literate to complete the task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system), Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned.
