In search of a Medical Assistant who has a desire to provide legendary patient care, excellent customer service, and develop new skills. Some medical background is required through experience or schooling. This is a great opportunity for individuals who desire enhanced professional development in the healthcare field as our medical staff treats patients with a wide range of conditions from wounds to fractures to diabetic foot care and surgery.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms

• Prepping patients

• Creating custom orthotics

• Scheduling

• Assisting with procedures

• Taking x-rays

• Inventory control and stocking

• Other tasks as assigned which could include administrative tasks

The candidates we seek are patient-oriented, have excellent communication skills (oral and written), enjoy taking initiative, work well within teams, and promote a positive work environment. They will have strong organizational skills.

Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent
• 2 years clinical experience in Medical Practice
• Background check required
• Certification is preferred
• Bilingual a plus
• Wound Care experience a plus

• Hickory, NC; however, we have two offices (Hickory and Morganton) so periodic travel may be required
