Position Summary:
We are looking for a positive, personable and energetic person to provide assistance to both the doctor and the front desk area. Top customer service skills should be employed to ensure that the patient experience is a positive one. We seek someone who is polite, well-spoken, courteous, compassionate, and organized, in addition to being committed to learning and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, greet patients with a smile, check them in and out
- Enter demographics and insurance information in our EHR system
- Collect co-pays and verify insurance eligibility
- Answer questions pertaining to billing summaries and home care instructions
- Coordinate patient flow from the reception area to the exam/treatment rooms
- Process payments
- Perform a variety of clerical functions as assigned
This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys both the administrative and patient-centered functions of a medical practice. Your role is to assist the patients in a manner consistent with a pleasurable clinic experience, accurate information, and a positive outcome.
