Physician Residency Coordinator oversees the administration and scheduling of the physician residency program of a healthcare organization. Coordinates and facilitates the activities of the physician residents and provides the resources necessary to fulfill curriculum requirements. Being a Physician Residency Coordinator ensures physician activities comply with governing bodies such as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or other applicable regulations. Supports the recruitment and selection process of resident physicians. Additionally, Physician Residency Coordinator administers and maintains a system or database to manage schedules and physician performance metrics. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Physician Residency Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Title: Locum – Physician - Emergency Medicine

    Location: Hermiston, OR

    Department: Emergency Department

    Shifts - 12-hour Physician shifts 7a-7p plus night call

                 12-hour APP shifts 7p-7a

    Daily census: 15-18


    Summary:

    A Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide medical care to patients in the emergency department
    • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and emergencies
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
    • Administer medications
    • Initiate and manage patient care plans
    • Provide education and counselling to patients and their families
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
    • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

    Qualifications:

    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
    • 3 years of experience in an emergency department setting
    • Strong clinical skills and judgment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
