The Division of Rheumatology and Department of Medicine is actively recruiting additional Rheumatologist to join an academic faculty team that provides patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, as well as opportunities for research. The physician hired will have a faculty appointment at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences with the appointment commensurate with the candidate's credentials
Knowledge,
Skills & Abilities:
-MD or equivalent required
-Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency
-Fellowship trained in Rheumatology
-Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology
-Current licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to beginning the position
Communication and other skills:
-Ability to successfully teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellows.
-Experience in collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues.
-Experience in working as a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position works in a professional clinical and academic office setting.
