Physician - Sports Medicine examines and treats sport or athletic related injuries. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Sports Medicine monitors patient during sport events or physical activity and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Sports Medicine requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Sports Medicine's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Summary

    Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking an hourly locums Sports Medicine Physician to join our Capitol Hill Campus team in Seattle, Washington.

    This Hourly Locums position is a resource to help with Sports Medicine physician coverage in the North Region and will include work in the following clinics: Capitol Hill, Bellevue and Renton Medical Center

    As a condition of employment, all clinicians and employees are required to verify COVID-19 vaccination status.  As part of the pre-boarding process and before starting work, you will be required to verify your vaccination status, and will be provided an opportunity to apply for an accommodation based on a religious or medical reason, if needed.

     

    Compensation and Benefits

    The entire hourly rate range for this position is $133.31 to $148.81 per hour. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $133.31 to $148.81 based on factors such as education, training or experience.

    Benefits include: Full malpractice indemnification (including tail coverage), 401(k), employer contributions to social security.
