Physician - Urology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the genitourinary tract and organs. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Urology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Urology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Urology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
    Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required.
    National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
    Relevant experience preferred.
