- Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning pipes, valves
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient in managing pipe installations from start to finish
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience supervising a team of pipefitters or apprentices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
