We are a local construction company looking to hire a Heavy Highway Laborer, someone with at least 5 years experience with water main, sewer, and site work installation. Please do not apply if you have not worked for another construction company doing similar work. Responsibilities are, but not limited to, pipe laying, water main installation, sewer repair or replacement, water service installation and the knowledge and understanding of the materials needed to do this work. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and will not need a lot of training to get up to the speed of our company. We are looking for someone who takes direction well, and can pick up the process for pipe installation quickly. We do travel to site locations, however all of our work is within a 45 min- 1 hour drive from Rochester. We do work all year round. Eligible candidates must have reliable transportation, license, High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least OSHA 10 training. CDL-A drivers license a plus. Prevailing Wage rate will be paid on all public work jobs and benefits are paid out as well. We are looking for a candidate who can work in a group setting of employees that do not beat around the bush, we work hard and know what needs to be done and expect that you will do the same.
