Pipeline Technician jobs in Longview, TX

Employee will start as contract (1099) and great opportunity to grow with company. Majority of work will be in West Texas/New Mexico on a flex/rotation schedule (2/1, 2/2, etc). Pay range is estimate and actual pay will depend on experience.

Must have reliable transportation (truck and tools) to handle Oil & Gas lease roads. Truck allowance and per diem provided.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on CP system and pipelines
• Conduct recurring surveys, inspections and oversight as required
• Extensive data collection with datalogger and PCS software
• Excellent computer skills and using all methods of communication
• Troubleshoot, identify and resolve problems with CP systems
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and daily timesheets
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company/customer policies

Qualifications:

• NACE/AMPP CP1 certification or higher
• Clean driving record (commercial insurance required on your vehicle)
• Previous experience as a technician in the oil and gas industry preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to work in hot and cold climate
• Ability to push, lift, and pull 50lbs minimum
• Ability to work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing
• Be reliable and regular attendance

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
