Pipeline Technician is responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of an oil or gas pipeline system. Troubleshoots, tests, maintains, and repairs pipeline equipment which may include valves, operators, and filtration systems. Being a Pipeline Technician performs periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the pipeline system. Completes maintenance records, service reports, and other required documents. Additionally, Pipeline Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Pipeline Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Description
This position will be based at the Hermann, MO facility. This position is subject to both pre-employment and random DOT drug testing.
This position is responsible for welder support by maintaining and operating tools and equipment associated with pipeline maintenance and repair and ensures a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements :
This position will require an individual to hold a valid driver’s license.
CDL Required. In addition, must have one year of CDL driving experience or an entry level driver training certificate.
This position will require an individual to hold a TWIC card.
When a higher-level position exists candidates with greater qualifications may be considered for the position.
