Pipelines Manager manages day-to-day operational aspects of natural gas and/or crude oil pipeline. Plans and develops enhancements of pipelines to troubleshoot pipeline problems. Being a Pipelines Manager ensures that the department's objectives meet the regulations, industry standards, production targets, and quality standards. Determines expenses for pipeline system usage. Additionally, Pipelines Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pipelines Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Pipelines Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Job Summary
The Construction Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor at underground projects for McGuire and Hester. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris and remove asbestos, lead and other hazardous waste materials if appropriately trained and certified.
