Golden Hour Gift Co is a feel-good gift shop! We have locations in Burlington, Winooski and Colchester. We carry plants, jewelry, clothing, kiddo items and more. We do a big plant tent in front of our store during the spring, summer and fall.

In this position you will do both sales associate tasks as listed below in addition to management tasks.

Sales Associate:

-Maintain a warm & friendly store environment that creates an authentic and genuine customer experience and connection that is true to our brand and story.

This job is based in Winooski, Vermont but may require travel to our Warehouse in Colchester on occasion.

• Supervise, train and assist employees Retail Store Clerks in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
• Develop and maintain a schedule for employees and promotions centered on holiday sales and other cycles.
• Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
• Implement cross-training of employees to maintain productivity at all times.
• Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
• Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
• Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.

We are looking for a self-starter with 2 years of retail management experience. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team and running a store. Competitive pay based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
