Manager's Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of wait staff, bus people, hosts, and gift shop personnel.
- Train and onboard new dining room and gift shop personnel.
- Create and maintain a well-organized schedule for all dining room and gift shop employees, ensuring adequate coverage during operating hours (8-3 every day).
- Monitor and ensure exceptional customer service standards are met by all staff members. By Implementing effective strategies for restaurant operations, including food safety regulations and customer service protocols.
- Maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for guests in the dining room and gift shop areas.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of supplies within all locations storage, bathrooms, dining room, and gift shop.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally in person or online.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and the kitchen manager Kern to ensure smooth and timely food service.
- Oversee inventory management for the gift shop, including restocking and ordering merchandise as needed.
- Maintain proficient computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and Toast POS systems.
- Display flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
Requirements:- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or retail setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of restaurant and retail operations, including food safety regulations and customer service protocols.
