Planner/Scheduler - Construction jobs in Green Bay, WI

Planner/Scheduler - Construction collects and analyzes information used to plan and schedule construction projects. Generates forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects. Being a Planner/Scheduler - Construction researches and reports on economic, legal, and other factors that may impact project success. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects and the reduction of issues due to scheduling errors. Additionally, Planner/Scheduler - Construction understands and utilizes standard planning and scheduling methodologies and tools. Prepares plans and schedules for small and routine projects. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Planner/Scheduler - Construction works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     • Prepare work site to locate utilities and eliminate possible hazards.
    • Signal operators to help facilitate movement or alignment of equipment.
    • Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools
    • Configure pipe routes.
    • Assemble gas piping and equipment.
    • Follow safety standards throughout process, including while digging trenches, sliding pipe into trenches, grading trenches, and sealing joints.
    • Ensure pipes are fitted and aligned using grade rods or transit levels.
    • Cover pipes or cable with dirt or other material.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma/Equivalent
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Class A CDL preferred
    • Must be willing to travel
    • Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods of time
    • Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly
    • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Experience installing gas mains and fiber optic cables preferred
    • Education in Gas and Utilities Construction preferred
