We are Plant Nerd a Cannabis Cultivation based out of Paw Paw, we are hiring a Cannabis Cultivation Technician to join our growing team!

Job Title: Cannabis Cultivation Technician

Location: Plant Nerd Grow, Paw Paw, MI

Responsibilities:

• Pruning Plants: Skill in carefully trimming and shaping cannabis plants to encourage healthy growth.
• Defoliating Plants: Thinning and removing excess foliage to optimize light penetration and airflow.
• Moving Plants: Handling and transporting plants with care, ensuring they are placed in the appropriate locations.
• Harvesting Plants: Executing the harvesting process, including cutting, drying, and curing plants according to established protocols.
• Cleaning: Engaging in thorough cleaning routines to maintain a sanitized and organized cultivation environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or similar plant-related roles is preferred but not required ( we will train you )
• Knowledge: Understanding of cannabis, plant biology, and growth cycles.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Attention to Detail: Precise and careful execution of pruning and harvesting tasks to ensure quality.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve cultivation goals.
• Adherence to Regulations: Familiarity with local and state regulations related to cannabis cultivation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
