Plant Accounting Manager manages all financial control and accounting activities of a plant including general and cost accounting, payables/receivables and payroll. Ensures the plant's financial control processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provide required information. Being a Plant Accounting Manager monitors plant operation results against operating plans and direct the preparation of financial, production output, and other reports used to measure and control plant activities and costs. Leads the plant financial and capital budgeting process. Additionally, Plant Accounting Manager recommends and implements programs to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs. May require a CPA. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Plant Accounting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Senior Account Manager for high end residential landscaping company needed.
A qualified applicant has significant experience in landscaping management. Knowledge of plants, fertilization, and irrigation is an asset.
Quality control and best-of-the-best customer service are a must. An Account Manager must be knowledgeable and detail-oriented, diligent, organized, friendly and a good salesperson.
Must be an all-around leader for the maintenance crews: scheduling and setting their agenda each day, evaluating and rewarding top performers and holding crews accountable for quality and efficiency.
Weekly site visits to maintenance accounts - must have the diligence to continually perform detailed inspections of maintenance properties and give specialized instructions to maintenance crews for their next visit.
Sales skills are critical. Must be able to complete appointments and acquire new maintenance clients, build trust and create enhancement proposals for existing clientele.
In addition to base salary, compensation includes commissions on sales.
Use of a company vehicle to and from work, fuel & all maintenance included. PTO and health/dental/vision insurance included. Company laptop and cell phone included.
