Job Title: Controller to Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:

Our current CFO is preparing for retirement.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Controller to  Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The Controller/CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the executive team.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts

- Manage the company's budgeting process and ensure that financial targets are met

- Analyze financial data and provide insights to the executive team to support decision-making

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws

- Manage relationships with auditors, and financial institutions

- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success

Requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; preferred

- 5  years of experience in finance and accounting.

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the executive team

- ODOT experience preferred
