Plant Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs for a plant. Administers corporate policies relating to compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Being a Plant Human Resources Manager may be responsible for negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Plant Human Resources Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Plant Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. PURPOSE
Assists the Human Resources department in the administration of various human resource programs in several or all of the following areas: recruiting, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, training, safety and personnel research. Assist with specific short-term assignments and workflow for organizational effectiveness. Handles all information in a confidential manner. Work is performed under the supervision of HR Director of Anchor Operations.

PRIMARY INTERACTIONS
Interfaces with departmental and cross-functional peers and managers to provide clarification, communicate procedures, and to resolve problems.
COMPETENCIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. College degree in business or related area desired. Minimum of two (2) years recruiting and onboarding experience required. Familiarity with labor and employment law.
