    Summary: This position is responsible for planning and administering policies and procedures relating to all phases of Human Resources activities personally or through subordinates and company supervisors.

    Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:

    • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions. Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Complete legally mandated reports and employee statistics for government reporting.
    • Manage, hire, lead, motivate and train the Human Resources Department in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Exhibit confidence in self and staff. Resolve interdepartmental issues, accept feedback and give recognition.
    • Be a lead Change Agent for organizational changes as the company grows and expands.
    • Partner with internal Recruiter to coordinate hiring of employees. Maintain relationships with employment agencies.
    • Maintain records for benefit insurance and retirement plans as well as personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
    • Advise Management of appropriate resolution regarding employee relation’s issues.
    • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
    • Oversee administration of benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
    • Supervise handling of Workers Compensation injuries.
    • Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
    • Coordinate terminations, separations, and conduct exit interviews.
    • Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
    • Update the Employee Handbook with changes and new policies.
    • Maintain the quality of the Human Resources and Administrative Services Department to service the ebm-papst organization.
    • Maintain confidentiality.
    • Manage difficult or emotional employee situations.
    • Respond to requests for service and assistance.
    • Deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
    • Use the following software programs when performing this job: ADP Workforce Now as well as Microsoft 365 Suite
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Recommended Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field; or minimum five years related experience; or combination of education and related experience.

    • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are unsafe to ebm-papst and its employees.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
