Plant Production Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a Plant Production Manager to create an environment that puts safety first in all work areas each day. You will be accountable for training safety awareness daily on each maintenance task. Your goal is zero accidents!
Plant Production Manager Responsibilities
- All MSHA paperwork being complete.
- ZERO top 10 non-negotiables
- Enforcing Safety policies
- Monthly Safety Standdowns
- Respond to internal safety inspections in the allocated time given
- Understand the daily financials and create procedures to ensure we are meetng them
- Develop relationships with vendors to create advantages
- Create a comparison of quality products/parts to ensure top ROI.
- Daily plant walks and meetings with production leads
- Develop and maintain a preventative Maintenance plan
- Find solution rather than pointng out problems
Plant Production Manager Position Requirements
- 2 years of experience in crushing plant operations
- 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of crushing plant equipment, processes, and procedures(IMPORTANT)
- Experience with maintenance and repair of crushing plant equipment(IMPORTANT)
- Ability to prioritize and delegate maintenance tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors (in extreme Las Vegas weather conditions and a dusty environment)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
