Position Overview:
As a Residential Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of residential construction projects from start to finish. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methods, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Oversee multiple residential construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they progress smoothly and according to schedule.
• Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling deliveries, and conducting regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
• Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns or inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the construction process.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures on construction sites, promoting a culture of safety awareness and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Problem Solving: Anticipate and address potential issues or obstacles that may arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process, conducting thorough inspections and addressing any deficiencies promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, change orders, and communication logs, to track project milestones and ensure accountability.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and construction trends, and actively seek opportunities to enhance construction processes and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Superintendent or similar role, preferably in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and manage on-site construction teams.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and superior customer service.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications or training programs are a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
