Plumber inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools. Being a Plumber complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma. Requires Journeyman Plumber status. Requires a State License for plumbing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plumber works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are a team of 4 journeyman plumbers who have the ability and desire to train someone with limited experience but a lot of desire to become a service plumber. To do this, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and always be up for a challenge. You're not afraid to get your hands dirty, and you take pride in your craft. You're a team player through and through, but you're also self-motivated and driven to succeed.
