Plumber inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools. Being a Plumber complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma. Requires Journeyman Plumber status. Requires a State License for plumbing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plumber works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Journeyman or Master Plumbers
Position Summary:
We are looking for Journeyman or Master Plumbers to work primarily on large new commercial construction projects -- assembling, installing and repairing plumbing and med gas systems according to project specifications and appropriate trade and building codes. These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, fixtures and boilers for hydronic heating, water, med gas and drainage systems. They will also provide training for apprentices. We pride ourselves on high quality work and productivity.
Our Journeyman Plumbers also have the opportunity to take a lead role as a Foreman running projects!
