Plumber inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools. Being a Plumber complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma. Requires Journeyman Plumber status. Requires a State License for plumbing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plumber works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Trillium Construction is seeking journeyman plumbers for a commercial project in Chamberlain, SD!
Candidates must be familiar with the installation of PVC piping up to 12 and installing groove steel piping using Propress technology.
Candidates must also be proficient at installing and working with fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, circulation pumps, interceptors, and roof drains / floor drains.
Candidates with hydronics and PPRCT fusion experience are preferred.
The project duration is set for 4-6 months. Pay is up to $45 / hour with $100 / days worked in per diem. Candidates will be working around 5 9’s, Monday-Friday.
