Plumbing Service Manager

Job Description

• Managerial position
• Selling jobs - commission based work on top of hourly pay
• Plumbing background required, plumbing license not required
• Commercial and residential work, single and multifamily homes
• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
• Cut, assemble and install pipes with attention to existing infrastructure
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
• Drilling, use of power tools, installation of bathtubs, showers
• Drain cleaning, fixture repair and replacements, water heaters, troubleshooting, leak detection, cable machines, hydro jetting, boiler tech
• After hours and weekend jobs as scheduled

Skills and Requirements

• Management experience
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to lift up at least 40 pounds
• Comfortable on ladders and in crawl spaces
