Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while maintaining the store's visual standards and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable items, effectively utilizing upselling techniques.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring efficient cash handling and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed and replenished as necessary.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and restocking shelves to optimize product availability.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations.
• Provide support in achieving sales targets by actively promoting current promotions and loyalty programs.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and performing retail math calculations accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with experience in cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail setting are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.12 - $12.12 per hour
