Poker Dealer deals poker, accepts bets, pays winners, and collects from non-winners. Handles player transactions, notifies pit supervisor of any irregularities or disputes that may arise during the game. Being a Poker Dealer may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Poker Dealer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Compensation: $8.00
Under the direction of the Table Games Floor Supervisor, the Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing a variety of casino games in strict accordance with the rules of the respective games and the Table Games Department Internal Controls, Policies, and Procedures. The Table Games Dealer also plays an important role in providing highly professional customer service while interacting with Tesuque patrons.
Note: Native American preference will be given.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods. The employee occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and must be able to hear and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to twenty five (25) pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Due to the nature and scope of this position, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours and irregular shifts will be required.
