Job Overview – FP & A Analyst – 33304
Our client is seeking an FP&A Analyst who will play a key role in supporting their budget, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes. This individual will conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses to gain insights into business performance, identify trends, evaluate operational risks, and explore growth opportunities. The FP&A Analyst will also utilize business intelligence tools to create and sustain performance reporting for various stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:- Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the development and execution of the annual budget and weekly/monthly financial forecasts. This includes building detailed P&L and cash flow models and coordinating inputs from cross-functional teams.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support the financial reporting process by analyzing operational and financial results and preparing presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Internal Reporting: Oversee the internal reporting function, tracking key business metrics such as sales, gross margin, customer KPIs, and other performance indicators.
- Data Visualization: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to enhance data visualization, enabling insightful analysis and decision-making support for stakeholders.
- Data Collaboration & Integrity: Act as a data expert, working cross-functionally to gather, analyze, and ensure consistency and integrity of data, in partnership with data services and governance teams.
- Ad Hoc Requests: Respond to various ad hoc financial and operational queries across the organization, providing timely and actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and prioritize business needs
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey key insights to senior leadership
- Background or interest in technology
- Exposure to building reports in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
