Quality Automotive Services is a privately-owned Franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) currently operating 114 locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Georgia, Utah, Montana, Colorado, and Wyoming. Essential Functions:
· Respond immediately to emergency calls from management and resolve maintenance and repair issues in an efficient and timely manner.
· Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
· Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
· Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
· Detect faulty operations, and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
· Comply with all policies, procedures, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions.
· Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
· Keep records of all day-to-day maintenance activities and expense reports (equipment purchases, gas receipts, etc.)
Job Requirements:
Must have a clean, valid driver’s license.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Travel is required, and requires a minimum of 50 hours per week.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School / 2 Years’ Experience.
